Pressability is one of the most important properties of an aluminum alloy in the manufacture of aluminum profiles. It is determined by the maximum allowable pressing speed of the profiles. This characteristic is one of the most significant factors that determines the cost and efficiency of the entire production process in the manufacture of aluminum profiles.
According to the complexity of pressing, all aluminum alloys used for the production of aluminum profiles are divided into the following groups: easy-pressing (so-called "soft" alloys), medium-pressing ("semi-hard" alloys) and difficult-to-press ("hard" alloys).
Here is a table of the classification of the pressability of aluminum alloys:
|

| І | Easy-pressing | Soft | Al Al-Mn Al-Mg (Mg до 1.5%) Al-Mg-Si: 6060,6063, 6101 |
In the production of aluminum profiles from soft aluminum alloys, similar technologies are used (direct joint-to-joint pressing, hardening (cooling) on a press) and the same pressing equipment is used.

Our production uses ONLY easy-to-compress alloys: AD-0 (1050) and AD-31 (6063 and 6060).
Heat treatment is not applied for AD-0 alloy.
